Wow! And, as of last week, Li owns much of Global Crossing, which has tight fundraising connections with Daschle and which went bust, leaving its shareholders losing millions and millions, like Schwartz's Loral/Globalstar did. The Chinese communists and Clinton Democrats seem to share common interests in overleveraged telecommunications companies that leave their shareholders holding the bag, then sell the working assets on the cheap. I wonder how many other times this has happened?
