Tom, there is nothing in the essence of what you say that I would quibble with. No way. The blackmail via a dress...oh yeah. He is fairly called stupid in many ways, IMO.

Your observation that Cliton set himself up for blackmail is well-taken. Who's to say that he didn't compromise our national security to a blackmailer who had proof that he had sexual relations with that woman -- or others?

Cliton was a national security risk from the day he first took office, and probably breached our security in ways we may find out about only decades from now.
