RE: Silver and your list: Bill Gates...knows alot about computers, doesn't mean he knows alot about precious metals.

RE: buffet? He knows so much about silver he sold his Gillette/DuraCell franchise...and he bailed out the rogue Phibro european traders who put the 87 squeeze on gold...who knows if he still has it or not?

RE: Soros':...last I heard his interest in silver was thru a hedge fund which bought up and ran APEX mining into the ground...not exactly a clarion endorsement for rabid silver bulls...

I'll say one thing for your wood perservative/paint story...the FDA wont' let collodial silver be used on people...what makes you think the industry will get to build our decks and houses with silver impregnated wood, or paint our nursery and kitchen and bath with silver impregnated paint???

RE. silver as an investment:Two years ago the mere sugestion of T bonds yeilding 6%as an investment would have received a sarcastic and mocking response. How different it is today when investors park their monies in MMf yielding 2.5 % or less.Market perception is a quirky thing, and can change very quickly.
