I am not misinformed at all.....the links I have provided you and Tim are from very creditable sources.......one represents a org. that was founded by a Republican, I believe. http://www.nrahq.org/history.asp A Brief History of NRA I don't care what its history is nor what its original agenda was, I am concerned as to the NRA's current agenda which is the promotion of gun ownership and usage in a country that is incredibly violent as compared to its peers. ted
