I guess you're talking about the charts that have historical EPS, dividends and other fundamental information on them. I would love to have a program that creates charts like that but as far as I know there isn't one. All that stuff is important and should be considered.
As far as indicators go they are ok but "indicatoritis" is a hazard that most beginning chartists fall prey to. I rely mainly on Elliot waves, support and resistance, and moving averages. I'm bearish on FNM short term but based strictly on PE and other measures it doesn't really make sense. Sun can tell you I thought the dollar was going down a month or so ago, hehe.
Charting is certainly not a magic bullet but it's just another tool. I can state for a certainty that there is not a chartist who is always correct about every trade. However I would gladly pit myself against Mister Malkiels "blindfolded monkey throwing darts at the wallstreet journal".
