Quite right. Lack of ability to demand is quite a factor in establishing an equilibrium point on the supply/demand curve ;)

Of course, with vendor financing with a top-up for working capital requirements from the First National Bank of Highly Motivated... well, what they can afford is not so relevant.

Unless shareholders lift the "cash flows from financing activities" walnut shell, they won't likely see the pea until it's too late.

AHA! So Jorj, you finally bring up the real reason why margins are being pressured. Price competition! Elementary, my dear Watson. I would say very much so. I bet there are some financing deals going on too in order to win business. That is where your real pressure comes from, not the secondary, used goods markets.
