Do you think they've even noticed that evangelical Protestant voters -- the President's own base -- are pro-Israel? probably not. but remember--very, very few foreigners understand just how the American political system works, and what drives American policy. For example, almost nobody understands just how little power our executive branch has, or how Congress works. The Israelis, on the other hand, have a rather good understanding of the system, one might say... to take just one example, I dare say the website below, which I happened to be glancing at today, offers a better guide to U.S. foreign policy than you'd get in the vast majority of courses on the subject in American universities... meria.idc.ac.il tb@they'reprettyquick,thosejews.com
