These kind of announcements give me goose-flesh. <g>

<In addition, only one external ultra high frequency (UHF) single-band VCO is required for all CDMA frequency bands worldwide.>

Comparing current target dates with those announced on March 20th last year....

Sampling of the QCT first-generation radioOne chipset, as well as the PM6000 and PM6050 chips, is expected to begin in the first quarter of calendar 2002 with production scheduled for the third quarter of 2002.

The MSM6000 was expected to sample in "early calendar 2002"....with production shipments in Q2. The 6050 is shown as sampling during the first half.

The MSM6050 looks early while the MSM6000 is going to be a little bit late.

Samples of the radioOne 6200 (W-CDMA/GSM) solution are expected to be available in the third quarter of calendar 2002.

A slight pushout from the original goal of sampling during the first half of '02.

Samples of the radioOne 6300 (1x/GSM) solution are expected to be available in the fourth quarter of calendar 2002.

I think that this one qualifies as truly late. They were expected to sample in the first half of '02. Unicom is going to have to wait a little while....
