Absolutely.

It's my belief that regulation of macrophage/microglia will turn out to be one of the most lucrative pharmaceutical avenues over the next 10-20 years. Certainly a palliative approach, for the most part, but more likely to achieve amelioration of pathology (in the immediate future) than addressing head-on underlying disease processes.
