Things are looking up here compared to a few hours ago. It should be an interesting day for the markets due to the various crosscurrents. AdvocateDevil

Sam, HP says Consumer strength plus results of cost cutting. This is the one two punch that will start impacting earnings more so next quarter. The market is consolidating for the next move up. We could be rangebound for another month or two. The good news is that news like this should protect us from going below that 1840-1850 interim low on nasdaq. Bad news is that the market has gotten ahead of itself so this news alone probably wont make this an up day. mike
