It does qualify as in some top percentile of litigiousness, though, I suspect. I don't agree. The top percentile of litigiousness, IMO, are the class action lawyers who bring large class action suits over miniscule damages where they get settlements which give, in some cases, a coupon or refund of a dollar or less per "litigant," but take home enormous class action fees. IMO, those suits are a gross abuse of the legal process. I also have problems with the lawyers who will file suit against almost any corporation whose stock goes down precipitously (note they never sue when the stock goes UP!), again for the primary purpose, I believe, of garnering huge fees for themselves with little or no benefit to the nominal plaintiffs. If you knew me, you would know that not only am I not one to rush into litigation, but I am a firm believer in alternate dispute resolution, and in fact am a approved by our local courts as a qualified mediator for mandatory mediation.
