Bouncing around in a volatile market, I suppose. Plus, the recent tight range in options trading makes the ST and MT indicators appear more volatile, because in the short term, the extremes weren't all that far apart. There was a period of lower volatility before the break to the downside. Now the extremes are expanding. Just as long as the extremists don't start expounding, we'll be OK.

Incidentally, the Naz has strong support at 1851. If it crashes through that, sayonara. Don't get me wrong: I have no interest in fighting the trend, and the trend is down. I wouldn't be among those lamenting the breakdown of support.
