Salty--I guess we can't blame A.G. Edwards, based on recent events. But as I wrote a couple of weeks ago, PYR sounds committed to putting the drill in the ground at two, and maybe three, of their non ELH properties by summer of this year so they are not going to be totally dependent on day to day events at ELH. Sounds like things went well for them last week at NAPE in terms of interest in these projects.

A rare visit to an old neighborhood. I didn't realize the the East Lost Hills play has lost its glitter based upon share prices. Hope things turn positive for all here.

I've been detached from the O&G industry for the past couple of years, but am slightly becoming interested once again.

Is anyone interested in the Smoky/Bolton play in Canada. It appears the initial well has been very successful for the 5 or 6 partners in the group. The extent of success is suppose to be announced in about 30 days - after testing. Some people claim this exploration play was one of the impacting plays planned this year by Canadian companies in Canada.

It doesn't rival the initial potential that the ELH play had, but none the less, the play is a company maker for all the companies involved.

I'm hoping that estimated "reserves in the ground" is in the value neighborhood of $300 million - based upon a NG price of CDN$1.00 to $1.50 for my estimate of .5 TCF in reserves. That's my guess based upon the little information I have seen published. The well was 4800 meters deep and cost $11-12 million. In general terms, they didn't experience any serious drilling problems and infrastructure is very close to the drilling site. The well will probably be on line prior to the end of the year.

I have an interest in one of the companies. However there is another company that attracts me. If my valuations are in the neighborhood, this company's Net Asset Value will increase dramatically because the current fully diluted share price is less than 1/2 its potential net asset value per share.

I'm going to start a new subject "Smoky/Bolton Exploration Play" and if anyone wants to participate in discussing it - jump over to it and indulge.

Thanks
