Your phone now doulbes as an ISP service that is 2.85 times faster than my current 40 kbps dial up service. AS soon as PCS offers 3G1X, I will disconnect my local phone service and be 100% wireless for voice and internet. That will save me $150 a month for local, long distance, and isp. The movement to wireless is a trade-off right now to avoid redundant services and billing.

New wireless services will be ushered in with BREW like direct connect & multipack. I'm sure we will see a lot more applications in the near future once VZ & PCS start competing head to head.
