Hi Cush

It is a pain to use the kitco 24 hour chart because of load time, but I tried this today:

kitco.com

It is the live gold price in NY and it seems to refresh fairly regularly. I just left it in a window on its own and checked back to it when I wanted the price. May not be exactly what you are looking for, but it helped me.
