"If they (Repubs) had their way, ***************************************** I wasn't referring to average republicans(I'm one as well)--the reference is to the extreme right wing. The extremes on right & left come out of the woodwork when one political party seems to have a mandate--unfortunately. For instance, our own homebred Ayotollahs: Falwell & Robertson become too prominent as the Republican strength increases. We need to muffle those two--they give conservatism a bad name.
