Supply chain is the hottest acquistion target right now. PSFT, SEBL and IBM as acquirers. Supply chain is becoming key to the mainstream biz processes. 8:06AM PeopleSoft looking at acquisitions (PSFT) 32.66: Co is looking to use its $1.7 bln cash hoard for an acquisition in supply chain mgmt, according to the Financial Times. President and CEO Conway said he is looking to raise the co's mkt position from number four to first or second, and is looking at ITWO, MANU, and other less-recognized names; he does not expect a deal in the next 60 days and has not yet made a formal approach.
