Perhaps ... then again, things don't look so good, if you'll pardon the blunt observation, if civil liberties, prosperity, public safety, and honesty government and business dealings are the goal.

We're in pretty bad shape, under those criteria.

I would hate to think things could get any worse, but it looks like they will.

Take a look at the list again and note how many of those suckers are associated with wars.
