Mark - Yeah, I've heard nothing but good about Cyber. If NexTrend could hook up with a reasonably priced broker we'd be in heaven with the possibility of free service. Looking at their current partners though, I don't see anything that tempts me. This is a guilty secret, but I have an IRA at Datek, and I keep it because I love the fast good executions on listed trades. I can afford them for swing trading, but not for day trading a modest line. They still have occasional problems with access, but on the whole they have improved dramatically over what you experienced. They have upgraded the communications portals, and are working on platform improvements. If they introduced a computer-resident trading program and cut fees, they'd be competitive. I do like the "free" bells and whistles they have for so-called "elite" accounts, but I know I'm paying too much for them. That's why I like IB: they just execute your trades fast and well and skip the fluff. - Mike
