WCDMA for GSM in the US is only a hypothetical outcome. It would be premature for anyone to commit money to R & D until ATT can find the 10 MHz of spectrum for 3G WCDMA.

WCDMA in Europe is around the corner. It makes perfect sense for Qualcomm to make the equipment available as soon as possible.

No need for a"6200" that works in the US as Cingular and AWE are married to NOK in such a way that they won't use QCOM ASICS. Also, if they sink financially as Seybld has suggested, they won,t be buying phones any way.
