I consider the market to be like a forest -
full of mostly deciduous trees that start to shed their leaves in fall, losing them completely in the winter. Slowly, as warm weather returns, so do the new blooms: exploding into gorgeous new colors of green!

Question is - where are we in the seasons?

btw - I agree that this "new era" of proper accounting will be the absolute best cleansing for the market. Heaven knows we needed it.

If I really wanted to, I could come up with a more eloquent way to state the Market/Forest Fire analogy, but I assume that you know what I mean.

The phrase, "burn, baby, burn..." comes to mind. And I don't mean Disco Inferno.
