That's exactly what happened to Solon on the Cruel Posts thread. When I realized he had been moderated out of it, I quit posting about him there. He got quite irate at it, so he should be on your side here.

There are people that I do not want to interact with. I feel an obligation to tell them any criticism that I have of them directly or at least make sure they know of my complaint before talking behind their backs about it. I do not feel an obligation beyond that to include them in discussions in which that same complaint might be voiced. Example: I don't like Jeffery Dommer. I figure my complaint about him is understood by him so I do not feel I have to verbalize it to him. I also feel free to discuss my complaints about him with you and others even though he is not included in the discussion. Note: I am not comparing him with you. I am merely using an extreme case to make my point. I think it is wrong to whisper within ear shot or change to a foriegn language so that one of the persons present is cut out of the conversation. This is a slightly different scenario in which an active member of a group may be caused to feel dog piled on unfairly. This appears to be your complaint or perhaps you fall in the middle of the two scenarios someplace. I understood that you were eliminated from the discussion knowing full well the nature of JLA's complaint against you and then continued to lurk or eves drop. I am against eves dropping as I think it is damaging to the soul of the dropper. If this was the case then the harm was self inflicted. If the RWETers were aware of your droppings and were being insulting just to annoy you then there were too wrongs. "We are on different wave lengths, I think." Very likely.
