I can understand that -- you must overturn the wishes of principled judiciary, or anyone else that stands in the way. To save time, you can also bypass the Judiciary altogether with the ever-popular "Texas Suicide"

time.com

Just another trivialization of life, so popular these days among fundamentalists, on all sides of the Planet.

I can't find the link at the moment, but it was reported Ashcroft told his staff to look for any charges against Walker that could carry the death penalty... You know the rule, "penalty first, determine the crime later"

With the Supremes and the Bush administration, what did Shakespear call it - "a Royal Fellowship of Death"

I heard a comedian saying he was concerned about Bush being Pres - but when Bush was signing all those death warrants in Texas, "it was OK 'cause he was only killing Texans! "

In Chicago on Jan. 25, Scalia said, "In my view, the choice for the judge who believes the death penalty to be immoral is resignation rather than simply ignoring duly enacted constitutional laws and sabotaging the death penalty." His remarks were transcribed by the event sponsor, the Pew Forum.

I wonder if Scalia would agree to the replacement of "death penalty" with the word "abortion".

Another whack job post by TP.
Ain't gonna be no impeachment.
Ain't gonna be no removal.

In fact, Scalia has a great shot to move up to CJ when Rehnquist retires during the second Bush Administration.
