Mike, funny you should say that. Not that it is unusual to hear here on SI, but because today while watching CNBC, One of their new economists, Marcy Rossell was reporting about something and she brought up the idea that Japan still sees no light at the end of the tunnel. She reported asking someone important(forgive me, I was only half paying attention) if that worried him. And his response to her she said was that no one really cares any more about Japan. They(Japan) have been in crisis for ten years and the rest of the world was still okay.

I really wish I could get the transcript of that report because from what I caught of it, it seemed like a really irresponsible remark on someone's behalf. And the way she reported it was beyond reproach.
