Vitas, sorry to hear that you'll be unable to keep up the improvements to the web site. It's a busy time of year for you, I'm sure- and ya gotta take care of bizness..

The 1975 comparison is just a similarity. I agree that alot of indicators didn't reach the negative levels last yr. that they did in '74. Maybe that means we don't go as high- but I still think '75 is a good comparison- mainly because it followed an ugly 2 year long bear market.

As you can see in the chart- there was a big correction a few months out past the bottom. Although it occured a month earlier than this one has, I think we're seeing the same thing now. 'Buyer's remorse' is what they call it in the RE bizness.

BTW- The generally bullish pre-full moon period starts today.

Thanks again,
TW

Hi Vitas, It interesting that the SUM of 5 day TRIN (NASD) was so much lower at the Sept 21st low compared to the April 4th 2001 low.

geocities.com

also the 5 DAY TRIN has made a series of 3 lower lows from late July of 2001 then in August and the 3rd lower low on the Sept 21 low. That seems counter intuitive to the selling climax many said happened at the Sept low.
