I agree with much of what you say and why I say DEFLATION is my biggest concern with this market (and hence I welcome modest INFLATION). It is the reason I have red flagged any break of CRB 175 is equivalent to death row support(and if copper makes new lows and breaks below .60 cents). This warning and the market would be in serious trouble and take on another ominous dimension not seen since 1932 - 1933, IF these breaks materialize.

My point about signs of a modest inflation pick-up is that copper, steel, energy and coal have all bottomed and are attempting to firm. This is positive for the market. Any relapse back to the lows, and worse lower lows, and your premise about no inflation indicative to support an economic recovery will have proved correct.
