The flaw is that addiction is a combination of chemistry and genetics that permits no room for reason or values. I think most people are more loyal and considerate of family over country, and addicts run roughshod over family. Good intentions notwithstanding, I think linking patriotism to anti-drug messages will more likely just get Bubba Q Yayhoo fired up about shooting some junkie because God blesses America, while junkies are supporting terrorists like the godless ACLU.
