Ray,
So true. I've said some pretty stupid things in my days. Been nominated on this thread twice too.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), threads have not been made for every classification, so "moron" may be the wrong word. However, your comment was most certainly racist, which is a stupid way to have (or end) an argument. And by the second definition of "Moron" that you listed
2 : a very stupid person
it could qualify as a "Moronic" post, even if you do not meet the overall requirements to be considered an actual "moron".

Ray,

You quoted the meaning of *moron* from <<The Cambridge International Dictionary of English>> and the <<Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary>>

Had you access to a *real* dictionary, you moron, perhaps you would have found a singularly more appropriate definition -- at least in the caustic case of your partisan prose. <w> <bg>

From the 1933 (pre supplement) Oxford English Dictionary (the real McCoy!):

Moron. Obs. [F. , moron, mouron (OF. moronne. 14th c.).] A variety of salamander.

1774 GOLDSMITH Nat. Hist. (1824) III. 158 "With respect to the Salamander, the whole tribe, from the Moron to the Gekko, are said to be venomous to the last degree."

C'mon, Ray, upgrade your reference library!
