I believe that ATT is also increasing long distance rates with a monthly charge of $5-$8 for most plans. I recently looked at wireless plans and I believe they have gone up in price. The definition of nighttime calling keeps getting later and later aka 9:00 p.m. -- industry standards I'm told. I would not be surprised if the established long distance telecoms started seeing better cash flow in a couple months.

Hangovers s*ck. Not only is the telecom industry in shambles, but they negatively affect networking and fiber as well. Poor allocation of capital in the 90's leaves us with massive overcapacity and debt now.
