Of course Clinton left a mess - the economy on the skids - the Clinton recession - and the deficits. But it cannot be denied that Clinton fought balancing the budget at every turn until Dick Morris said he had to give in to the GOP.

Btw, the #1 economic forecasting firm stated that Bush's tax cuts were probably the most perfectly timed in history - to deal with the Clinton recession.
