re>11:11 (Dow Jones) Despite the fact that Hewlett-Packard (HWP) preannounced on the upside for its fiscal 1Q Monday, Lehman Brothers analyst Daniel Niles expects the stock to trade in the low $20s until the merger with Compaq Computer (CPQ) is sorted out in March. The analyst, who expects revenue to be sequentially flat in H-P's fiscal 2Q, said Compaq is a better play. He noted that H-P won't see "true revenue growth" until the October quarter. H-P and Compaq both recently down 2%. (DLF)<

Sounds to me like Lehman has an established arb position that they may wish to protect until the vote. Wonder when the FTC is going to rule on this deal?
