We all- imo- have a right to destroy ourselves. We merely do not have a right to destroy other people, in my cosmology- which is mine alone. There is no way you are as judgmental and icky in 3d as you are here. No one would ever buy anything from you- except perhaps other people in your church. You are like all of us- a wearer of a public mask. You, hypocritically, won't admit it- but there you are, I would expect as much from you. I do my job in public. I do what is expected, I follow the rules, and I try to be creative when teaching. My personal beliefs have no place in the classroom, nor do yours. A teacher should teach the material at hand- we are not there to subvert the beliefs or religions of the parents of the children in our classes. We must, by necessity, teach a bit of tolerance- since our schools are multicultural and multireligious. But further than that we should not go. Why you cannot get your mind around the fact that an atheist or an agnostic or a satanist could make a perfectly good teacher, keeping their beliefs separate from their job, I've no idea. I've met Christians who AMAZINGLY can make perfectly good teachers, by keeping their beliefs out of the classroom- why you'd never know they were Christian they are like anybody else! Isn't that amazing! It is true- I do hide some of my beliefs- because of intolerant bigots like you. If all people could be counted on to be fair it wouldn't be an issue. It is an issue for you that I hide my beliefs because no doubt you would like to see me fired, because you ARE an intolerant bigot. Examine your heart you poor man. And then let it go. Did you finally realize you were mistaken about the guys with the quarters? Want to admit it? Might do you some good.
