It wasn't a discussion, that is what you are missing. It was you becoming progressively shrill and hectoring. And to have let you on until you were satisfied that you had had your say would have merely prolonged the histrionic drama.

wonder why it is so difficult to get through to you the simple point that it is intellectually disreputable to resolve a discussion in the middle of it by banning one participant and extremely bad manners to, once the dissenter is silenced, bash that person when she can not defend herself or rebutt false assertions.
