Hi Val,

I stand corrected on your earlier inquiry for the thread portfolio. The Current Value column is only correct if you are presently long your stock pick. If you are short you would have to take the Total Cost column + or - the Gain/Loss column = the Current Value of your position.

I guess this shows the limitations to the thread portfolio. I know of no way to make the Current Value column relevant for those that are short after they make their 1st trade.
