It's also against the law to kill yourself, people that attempt suicide can be legally incarcerated for "their own good."

They certainly allow you to put
alcohol in it and penalize you if you abuse it to the point you infringe on someone
else's right so there's a certain amount of hypocrisy over drugs.

It's amazing once again how actions can be rationalized with positive spin.

Evidently you belong to the Bill Maher school of drug philosophy. He admits taking illegal drugs & therefore believes the law must be incorrect. I would enjoy driving my car at 75mph but I don't believe consequently that the law against speeding is wrong.
