I agree with you 100%. It makes me wonder how many times SI has already agreed to divulge private information about it's subscribers. It's scarey to know that all it takes is a fake supbponea for someone to obtain all the information they would need to assume your identity. This is a serious problem for all subscribers, IMO.

Yes, InfoSpace, as it is now, did take action, after having talked to an attorney who was helping us. They informed Richter that they wouldn't honor the subpoena unless he got a court order. From another quarter he was advised that if he didn't withdraw he could expect to be hit with a motion for sanctions.

So he decided the candle wasn't worth the penny.
