Hi Runomo,
Nope I was in Wisconsin during Christmas training for the Houston marathon and a cold spell came thru.I ran 4 days in - 10 degrees a pretty radical change from the 40-50 I was used to.

When I came back to Houston I picked up the flu/crud and it really took hold in my bronchial/lungs.I've not been to a doctor in 10 years as I'm usually in great shape.Upon diagnosis I was in the initial stages of Walking Pneumonia.

Make a long story short I lost 3 week of training and missed the Houston marathon for the first time in 8 years.

I'm now trying to get back in shape, but suffering from lack of consistency as I'm just returning from a family emergency in Wisconsin some 30 days later.

Life is getting tougher so far in 02 - but I'm still very lucky and aware this is just an aberration.

Boston is the best proof that Marathons really are enhanced by the spectators that go out and support the event.

You Beaners are the BEST.

I'll be back.ggg

Bob
