Now there's a word that's not been in vogue lately... Don't think I've heard it used since high school earth sciences classes... <g> You must have been a science teacher in a previous life...

Elan? Let's see... They take money out of their wallets, "lend" it to prospective buyers, who in turn use it to "buy" Elan products, or so the allegations go... Elan reports rosy, growing and very profitable revenues...

And then they get questioned about the possible practice... First Elan denies any such unethical, undisclosed practices... Vigorously denies it... Then... Uh... Maybe we did... (So, what? [my words, not theirs])

At least two class action lawsuits so far (that I know of), and the stock is way, way, way off over the past week or so... Down from about $35 or so a week(?) ago to an intra-day low of about $12.50 today... Ouch!!!
