Recovery postponed: Fujitsu sees no IT recovery before end of 2003

The market for IT services, often thought to be more robust than that for IT equipment, will remain flat this year and growth will not pick up until late 2003, according to Fujitsu, the world's third-largest IT services company.

The predictions came as Fujitsu confirmed the scrapping of its British ICL IT services brand, and unveiled its replacement - the Fujitsu Services division, which will be based in London.

Well, now that the windescreen is giving some 'visibility', the recovery is being pushed way into the future. Watch out for many more agreeing with this 2003 recovery date.
