He sounds like me, actually. I never get paid for (or credit for) what I write, but only for what I edit, even though some of my "editing" is ghost writing. Neocon and I are both free lance editors. I recently ghost wrote a piece for a ghost writer. You can guess how well I got paid. (Actually, I got her whole fee; she was unable to do the piece.)
