and then killing 500,000 Iraqi children over the next decade.

Hi Thomas M,

If you read my posts on the Iraq problem, you will see I perceive a major problem along the lines of a lot of suffering and people dying. I didn't say the USA killed them though. It isn't true either btw imho. I look at it along the lines... If the USA was even better then it is, maybe it could have saved even more lives. A big difference in perception.

Likewise, the only reason I said " a dumb remark if I may say so", is only enlighten you to the idea that persuading people to your perceptions of these important matters requires diplomatic skill and discipline. I usually have neither myself btw. To get someone on your side of perception, agreeing with you, is no simple matter.

No offence intended.

pearly.

"Do you have any idea how many innocent people the U.S. has intentionally killed of the last 200 years? I'll give you a hint - it's way over 3000. Heck, 3000 is probably one good raid into Guatemala back in the 1980s. Those darn Natives, a bunch of Commies, you know."

And what gives a bunch of Arabs the right to avenge everyone who has ever been killed by an American over the past 200 years?

"Many people around the world don't like our policy of leaving Saddam in power (in fact helping him crush rebellions), and then killing 500,000 Iraqi children over the next decade."

In the same sentence, you complain both that we killed too many people, and not enough people. And by the way, America didn't kill those children, Saddam Hussein did.

Palestinian gunmen kill three in revenge shooting.

"Backed by an enraged mob, Palestinian gunmen burst into a heavily guarded courtroom and shot dead three men at the end of a brief trial."

"On the street, an angry crowd of 500, most of them belonging to the Kameel clan, demanded the death sentence for the trio."

"About two dozen gunmen immediately stormed the building. They included members of the Palestinian security forces."

The victims of this angry Palestinian mob were teenagers.

All this world needs is another lawless, brutal, violent, terrorist state.
