<"Axis of evil" is a phrase worth lingering on.>

Yes, it combines the dark medieval times with the lingering modern variations.

Incredible that the enlightment of the 1700s did not have enough of battery power in the flashlight,
not even Edison nor billions of barrels of happily burning oil, bringing light into the evil dark.

Personally I would enjoy a more reaganist expression

"Axis of evil empires"

Ilmarinen

But do not despear, next xmas, midwinter time for great dark offerings, Santa Claus will arrive from
the evil dark of the darkest place of all (except Houston?) with gifts for all commercially gifted kids,
maybe even cheap gas.

(what was this thing about Houston, dark, hot,a@is, etc of USA)

This energy issue of cooling and heating has always been intersting, allthough it is a minor one,
compared to the energy it takes to produce a regular T-shirt, or how much corn, cow and gas to
get a good beef.

Drip-irrigation without salination of topsoil might be more important, but who cares these times
of search for the "EVIL"?? (any opportunist, please take a place in the row, best ones already gone,
but anyone can suggest their neighbor)
