When I was your oldest sons' age I was the Senior Patrol Leader for our troop of over 150 scouts...It was a fantastic leadership experience. I helped plan and organize trips that we'd take all over the country (skiing to Winter Park, Backpacking at the ranch in Philmont (NM), Rubber Rafting in the SouthEast, Canoeing in Maine, etc...). The troop was very fortunate and had great Adult leaders and support from the parents. We even had our own custom built bus that was well-equiped for roadtrips across the country...=) Regards, Scott
