Raises FY02 and FY03 rev/EPS ests, and raises price target to $70 from $60. 7:06AM Cymer upped at Merrill Lynch (CYMI) 35.75: Merrill Lynch upgrades to BUY from Neutral after the company beat ests last night; the co is benefitting from a rapid acceptance of new products, a lack of serious competition, a combination of higher ASPs from a shift to more advanced tools, and a higher gross margin due to cost reductions. Firm believes the continued shift toward advanced tools will drive revs and ASPs up next qtr despite an overall flat outlook for unit growth.
