actually this is so revolting a manipulation i am leaving my computer/tv and go read a book--have just started Vonneguts "Hocus Pocus"---i am off line --back later to see how this illegal maneuver plays out----o my dear innocence:)

well well well NASD futures have now swung 35points since "the leak"--gawd i am glad not short anything with 4-letters,i would be blowing a gasket.

We might have seen the near term end of the "enronitis" virus. The pendulum seems to have turned.
That applies to the banks, wcom, tyc and any other companies with lots of debt. Even NXTL moving up this morning. T news looks to be positive also.

I thought it had turned yesterday but that Daschle comment gave it life til the end of the day. Just as momentum picked up on the downside, the possibility exists that the same can happen on the upside as long as shorts have been aggressive lately and not covering.

Mutual funds might be ready to buy with what they took in from investors in January. I am more interested in what happens tomorrow after the Cisco earnings.
