My predictive skills are not good enough to either agree or disagree with you on this. I see a lot of problems looming for the consumer and business but think these will be worked out over a number of years of slow growth, rather than an imminent financial disaster. But the market and economists have been discounting a significant recovery. I don't think this recovery will come and as that realisation sets in, the pendulum may well swing to price in something worse than what is actually going to happen.

The point is, that I don't see the September lows as being the solid floor that you see. Bear in mind I thought the same at the end of September as well and have only just today got myself back to where I was then with the help of NDX futures shorts, Al and WEBX.
