" trade what you see and not what you think"

That phrase has cost me a bunch of money. Everybody trades what they think when you get to the heart of the matter. Nobody knows the future. It's just a question of how you interpret what you see to develop what you think, and there is great danger in reacting to everything that appears to contradict what you think will happen based on the accumulated evidence you have at your disposal. Too much emphasis on what is happening NOW can be deadly. I'm finding that I am wrong less often when I trust my interpretation of the bigger picture instead of the one I see in the moment.
