That is our job, to be ahead of the curve, to see thru the bullsh*t, and Wall Street has been piling up a huge steaming pile for years, add in all this "pro-forma" accounting b/s, and it was not hard to see where this whole thing was headed???

Check out this post, mentions some of my constant & favorite shorts, VRSN, and ORCL, both of which I am currently holding some nice puts. From last August>

In that post I also mentioned the questionable productivity numbers, and today they released another whopper of a number.
From todays report>"But while productivity held firm, the report showed American workers were still feeling the pinch from the ongoing recession as the number of hours workers spent on the job fell at the fastest rate in more than a decade.

The Labor Department said productivity, or worker output of goods and services per hour outside of the farm sector, rose at a 3.5 percent annual rate in the October-to-December period after a revised 1.1 percent gain in the third quarter of last year. The fourth-quarter rise was stronger than the 2.9 percent gain forecast by economists in a Reuters poll."
Pure fluff.

Also, the only metal stock I own from that list that I am underwater on is SWC, and I own that one with some leaps, so maybe, just maybe I will make a profit...

Also, I mentioned Indonesia a short time back as the next country to go to hell, check this out>
Indonesia Sells $270 Mln in Debt at One-Fifth of Book Value.
Somehow, that doesn't sound very good!

Boyd, remember way back when RGLD was a $3 stock? Just crossed $21....

I think people are catching on to the fact that the Bush clan wants a weaker dollar, and that translates into higher gold....
But we knew that a year and a half ago, of course....
