I've been fightin' the trend all morning trying to establish a good long entry point. I hope I finally found it with my last purchase.

And you have done it beautifully at the mere cost of commission. Well done, AD.

Sam, AD, and all -

I will point out that the NAS has been selling off since the start of February. That includes many of the semi equips. Only a few of the "bluechip" NAS stocks have fought that trend until now - AMAT, KLAC, CSCO, XLNX but the market trend seems to be catching up with these.

This, I believe, is the February effect that I have talked about before - a retreat after the usual January run-up.

I intend to hang back on picking up any long positions until I see the NAS bottom out - maybe as low as 1700? (except maybe a certain bio-pharma stock whose name I will never mention publically again!)
