Rory,

Stop holding back on WCOM. Tell us what you really think. This isn't venting, this is clearing the air.

WCOM is going to be my worst investment decision of 2002, the same way ENE was my worst of 2001--

No, not that I bought any or tried to catch a knife, but that I didn't short these %#%#@ or buy puts on them.

Golden opportunities on the dark side.

Otoh, I am short ANF and TIF.

Rory you didn't answer the question. I can agree with what you say, but I'm looking at this not so much whether WorldCom is a good stock to buy or not I'm just trying to figure out why they say there could be a liquidity problem again debt to equity .45 interest coverage ratio 4.00 price to cash flow 5 and no one is saying they're not go to make money this year. I'm not saying it's a good stock I just don't know what all the panic is about, will someone explain it to me. You mentioned they fund their operations from debt what is a quick and easy way to check that out on a stock before you buy? What I'm trying to understand is that when I look at market guide from a financial point they look solid but yet everyone is saying they're ready to go under so does that mean we can't trust information from sources like market guide or am I just not interpreting it properly I would appreciate comments from anyone
